SOBHA SOLIS

The founder of Sobha, P.N.C. Menon, gained worldwide recognition for his projects for the Sultans of the Middle East. In 1982, he built the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque and the Al Bustan Palace for the Sultan of Oman. As a token of appreciation for his excellent work, the Sultan personally granted him an Omani passport. Menon's constructions adorn Brunei, Uzbekistan, and other countries. He has established himself as a leading provider of interior and turnkey contracting solutions in the Gulf region and Asia.

After creating palaces for the Sultans, Sobha easily undertakes any projects in Dubai. The team has accumulated 45 years of architectural, engineering, and design experience. There hasn't been a single case where residents found defects and refused to accept the keys upon the completion of their homes. Inspections pass smoothly on the first attempt.

Sobha is a developer with a backward-integrated model. Construction materials and finishes are produced in-house at our factories. We control the quality at every stage of construction, from raw material procurement to the installation of furniture fittings in the finished homes. Architecture and design projects are created by departments within Sobha. We never outsource these tasks.

Sobha Division Interiors is the largest woodworking and carpentry enterprise in India, covering an area of 35,000 square meters. Here, interior finishes are produced for palaces, mosques, and five-star hotels throughout India and the Middle East.

Sobha Glazing and Metal Works (SGM) creates aluminum doors, windows, and glazing systems. They produce double-glazed windows for all projects in Dubai. When you close the windows, complete silence and a vacuum-like atmosphere prevail.

The Concrete Products Division (CPD) manufactures concrete blocks, paving stones, curbstones, drainage channels, sidewalk tiles, and high-quality landscape products of international standards. Sobha cultivates trees and shrubs in nurseries around the world. They are then planted fully-grown on Dubai projects. The greening, landscape design, and hanging gardens are designed by Menon's daughter, Bindu.

Quality control is led by German engineer Olaf Wagner with 27 years of experience in construction. He received a master's degree in civil engineering and a bachelor's degree in architecture from Germany. In Sobha projects, he acts as an independent technical inspector of the entire construction process along with a team of engineers. The owner of the company, P.N.C. Menon, is personally involved in project evaluation and quality control before presenting the project to the customer. The royal palace's degree of quality standards has not changed and gets implemented in all Sobha projects.
